• Began her teaching career at the very young age of 15.
• Bachelor of Fine Arts (Dance – Bharatanatyam) from Nalanda Nrityakala Mahavidyalaya, Mumbai University with a distinction.
• Masters in Fine Arts (Dance – Bharatanatyam) from Bharathidasan University, Tamil Nadu with a distinction.

• Shri A. Nageswara Rao Scholarship for topping the Mumbai University’s Dance degree examination.
• A graded Doordarshan artist.
• Singar-Mani title by the Sur-Singar Samsad.
• Nritya-Shivali by the Shivali Cultural Association.
• Gold Medal and Best Dancer Trophy at the All India Dance and Music Competition conducted by Sangeetayan, New Delhi.
• Girnar Ratna by Patel Cultural Foundation at Junagadh, Gujarat

• Junior Scholarship by CCRT, New Delhi awarded to Siddhhi Pillai
• Amritha Nair completed her Master’s degree (Bharatanatyam) from Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth, Pune with Distinction.
• Madhumita Ayyangar was selected for Natya Ratna aired on Sankara TV
• Jhanaani has been awarded the “Nrityakala Balanipuna” & “Nrityakala Poorna” titles
• “Rasa Laya Sudha” based on the compositions of Arunachala Kavirayar and the Navarasas was released on DVD by Kalavardhini.
• More than 40 students have performed their Arangetrams.
• More than 50 students have passed the Nritya Visharad degree from Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, Miraj.
• Nrtyanjli troupe has performed at various prestigious festivals across India.
• Won the first place on the Dum Duma Dum dance competition on Doordarshan in 2008
